I want to change the world. I could not think of how to start my bio, so I thought “what the heck, why not just tell them the reason you’re doing this." I really do want to change the world. I was born in the most beautiful country in the world: Dominican Republic. I’m not kidding; it really is the most beautiful country. I came to this country for the first time when I was seven years old with my older sister Judy. I had to go back home shortly after since my dad could not take care of my sister and me due to economic reasons. Because my dad really wanted us to benefit from the opportunities that this country has to offer he contacted an aunt of his who lived in the Bronx and asked her to take care of us. We ended up moving to New York to live with my aunt and my cousin. Although they were really nice people, being away from both of my parents was really tough for me. I missed them a lot. I remember thinking about my mom constantly, and loving the days that my dad would go to New York and visit me. Anyway, after two years in New York, my dad was finally able to support us, and so we finally moved to Cambridge, MA to live with him. This is where the magic happened. I ended up meeting this really skinny white kid who would constantly help me fit in with the rest of my teammates on our little league team. I would lose contact with this kid later that year since I was too old to play one last year for our little league team. It was not until freshman year of High school that I would see this kid again. And yes, he was still very skinny! We almost instantly became really good friends. Shortly after, this kid was practically like my brother. This is still the case today. I consider Zack to be one of my four younger brothers. We both became really interested in film, and so we decided to pick it up.

The primary reason I picked up film is because I strongly believe that there are a lot of things that could be better in this world, and I believe that film could be a very useful medium for me to deliver my message to the world. Although, I have to admit, out of anything I could have imagined doing, film is definitely the most fun way for me to fulfill my goal. I love the fact that I get to work with my best friend Zack, doing something that I have a lot of fun doing, while I fulfill my goal of making the world a more desirable place to live in. I also love the fact that Zack is equally as passionate about changing the world. These are very ambitious goals that I have set myself to meet, but with a co-worker like Zack there is nothing that I can’t accomplish.
