Sentinel Films is an independent film company dedicated to making films that are moving and thought provoking. Though we are small, and our resources are limited, we put everything we have into the projects we work on. We love what we do and have fun doing it. We hope you enjoy watching our films as much as we enjoy making them.

Sentinel Films was started by two friends who shared a love for filmmaking. We didn’t start doing this with the idea that we would make a career out of it; we did it simply because we enjoyed it. Neither of us have the traditional filmmaking background - we’ve never been to film school and haven’t spent a lot of time around big “Hollywood” film sets. But we are passionate about filmmaking and love the entrepreneurial attitude involved in building something on our own. Just about everything we know about filmmaking, from the artistic elements to the technical and business aspects of the industry, we have learned on our own.

We also both feel there are a lot of things in our society, and in the world as a whole, that need to be changed. The world could be a much better place if people learned to look at things from a different point of view and think about why certain things in our society exist, instead of just accepting them. Many of the ideas that go into our films, and the messages we hope people take away from them, revolve around this idea. We are not trying to start a revolution; we are simply trying to make people think and look at situations in a way they may not have before.
